ps i have an old ipod. it's a 20 gb photo that works fine except for the right button. you can't go to the next song. other than that it works fine. just to make sure i re formatted it, reimported song, and had no problems. songs work fine.

anyone try the new bootcamp release

i used it to get my partition from leopard back.

I can't find where that dude posted about downgrading his iTunes and now it wont work because the library was made in 7.0.
So I'll just post here.

Search your computer for "iTunes Library.itl" Delete it.
Also in your music folder delete the library files you see there.

You can now start iTunes 6.0, with no library.

Its going to say you're missing certain files to burn and import cds. Just reinstall iTunes 6.0

ok so my my ipod freezes a lot5 and all i have to do to get it to restart is open up the ipod itself, then hold menu and select to restart it, well i was doing this today, and now my ipod shows no display, so i was wondering if i might have accidently unplugged whatever chord or part works the display, and if anybody had any idea on which one this was or what it looked like

yeah i used bootcamp to setup my leopard partition intiailly, i kinda wish apple would take the bootcamp partitioner and make a built in app / add to disk utility so you could easily setup multiple partitions w/o data loss and w/o third party apps

Because they screwed up with the iTunes 7.0.0 for windows I have to suffer.
I downgraded to 6.5, because 7.0.0 erased my library. Now all my videos are misplaced, out of order, and tagged wrong.
Somehow because of this, my iPod is missing the TVshows section, and my Movies is blank, even though I updated my iPod from iTunes 6.5 WITH videos in there, that I once had on my iPod.
I'm restoring my iPod to the previous version of the iPod firmware.

the only reason any of that happened is because you're running windows.

So I sent in my iPod about 3 weeks ago and I got it on Thursday. I open the box and they sent me the wrong fucking iPod. They sent me a silver iPod mini. I have a 30GB video iPod. So I called Apple and sat on the phone for 2 hours getting that shit worked out and now they are sending me a new one. I guess the guy who was supposed to get his crappy mini is in for a suprise.

that happened to me before through best buy. they sent my 40gb 4G to the wrong person and sent me someone elses ipod. i brought it to best buy and i got my 40 gb 4G replaced with a 60 gb photo.
