I love feeling the iPhone in my hand. It feels so nice and just the right amount of heavy. it's like shiny, but for the hands!

i know, and the skin definitely adds bulk... but it's got such a good grip on it, i feel much better with it on.

I never had protecting cases for my iPods and they all did just fine. I am not expecting to keep my iPhone longer than 3 years anyway, so I'll just go through like 2 iPod socks which I will wash on a semi-regular basis.

i am typing on my brother's computer right now because my macbook just crashed and it won't turn on no matter what i do. what the fuck went wrong and should i bring this in to the store?

is it plugged into a power source? tried taking the battery out? does it turn on or just not boot?

i unplugged everything and i even took out the battery and reinserted it and nothing happened. i thought i should've been able to still have it working without the charger because the battery life button tells me i have enough battery life. i also tried following whatever the apple support website told me to do when it unexpectedly crashes, but it's not doing anything.

if i press the power button, the screen doesn't even flash or anything, it just makes that little mechanism noise that it makes when you're flipping open the macbook and then the tiny light at the bottom right hand corner of the laptop just turns on.

yeah all you can do is bring it in, sorry stace.

You don't pay anything anyway. It's their fault that that happened. Repairing technical failures, at least in europe, is not part of the warranty but required by law.

Really? Usually when i stack things up with equal specs, Apple comp's (especially the monitors, jesus christ) tend to be significantly higher.

The monitors are expensive when you compare it just by size.

look at the panels, that's why they are so expensive. (not to mention they have super awesome usb and fw hubs on the back)

if you want more expensive ones, look at eizo. haha

the mac pro sucks a little right now since it's in dire need of an update but other than that apple's stuff, ESPECIALLY FOR STUDENTS, is very competitive right now.

i read a good article on digg today about apple vs. dell in terms of monitors. the dells seem like the way to go.

I've got the dell 22" and I really like it

idk, I had the 23" Apple one and it felt like the best money I ever spent.
however, if you are not a graphic designer, there's no use in getting a monitor that expensive.

Actually, I am buying a Samsung 24" at the end of the month, since shipping my Apple costs just as much as buying that one.

I won't be doing a lot of graphic design here so whatevs.

Go get the same spec dell for less than an apple. I've done it, it's about equal.
