Amazing instrumental band. They sound like a pelican meets isis meets EITS sort of thing. They are currently doing shows with minus the bear, some with ISIS, and some with the velvet teen which is pretty amazing.

The band had a different lineup with Enter. Brian Cook wrote songs for Station part-time and for the new album devoted a lot of time toward this band.

in your opinion which is better, enter or station?
KID B
Sep 2 2009, 09:02 PM
Both are really good. But if you're not used to post-rock, you should probably give enter a chance because it is more upbeat and louder. Everything this band has released is solid.

i'm liking this band, any other post-rock bands that i might like?
if so, what album.
edit: greg it's kind of ironic that less than a week ago you made a comment about someone listening to post-rock (in a negative way)
and now here you are.
this is like post-rock for an add person…definitely not mono or calm blue sea or something involved…
but who am i to take greg's side. greg: get the fuck outta here

most post rock is boring as shit for me, but this actually has some cool heavier faster parts to it

listening to a full mono song was torture
i dont understand whats so appealing about music that sounds like the soundtrack to a bad movie

i wish i could mock your statements in real time, greg. everybody would laugh with me about it, and you'd feel shitty for stating your opinion. such is the internet. i hope for the day when the internet captures our true thoughts as they happen, so that when people say ridiculous things, they are quickly made fun of and said people begin to think before they squeeze shit through their teeth.
I thought the hating on greg was gone.

if you wanna be able to deal with people then you've gotta not let things like that bug you
in case you havent noticed, alot of people in this world say stupid shit
and i hardly consider praising a post-rock band that doesn't actually put me to sleep out of sheer musical disinterest as "saying stupid shit"
unless its your opinion that i have "said something stupid" because you like post-rock, thats really the only way that such a statement would make any sense

well if you didn't notice i said sometimes, i wasn't referring to this time in this thread but i'm sure i'm not the only
who thinks you make some pretty dumb or annoying comments.
