intramural. i forgot my pair at home, and they were shit anyway. the refs here are complete nazis. i had to take off a: my rubber wrist band, b. my PAPER wristband from a show, and c. my SILICONE plugs to play yesterday. gaytown.

dude, that is obscenely stupid. it's not like any of that would affect the play on the field at all, especially for something as minor as an intramural league. what was his reasoning? i'm really curious.

the refs themselves are students who get paid to do it, so its "them's the rules. i been told them's the rules."
i could ALMOST understand my plugs as they are eyelets and maybe a finger could get caught and do some sweet damage. but the others are certainly harmless.

in all of the high school sports I played all wrist type jewelery (be it a diamond bracelet or a rubberband) and neck wear had to be taken off. playing IM sports at penn state, Ive had my rubberband on my wrist get caught on someones hand and snapped it, causing a big welt on both our arms. he probably made you take all that goofy shit off because you look stupid though. yep, thats most likely the case.
