It seems to me the only reason Bush isn't getting in trouble is because of the magnitude of what they'd have to take away from USC and Reggie himself.

Yeah you never really hear about it, but if you make an example out of Reggie and Vick and some other people might think twice about what they think they can get away with for being nothing more than a regular person with great talent and endorsement deals. Something has to bring these guys back to reality, or at least make them better at covering up their tracks. Sometimes people have to take the fall. And if you actually harbor some sort of sympathy for Michael Vick and Reggie Bush that's just ridiculous. Regardless of who's to blame in these situations or if there is some corrupt system, being an athlete doesn't make you immune to having a conscience.

My comments on Reggie weren't to be taken seriously, and were only said because I'm a Saints fan.

I'll be the first one to say that it's bullshit that professional athletes get such special treatment in cases like this, but unfortunately, that's the way it goes for a lot of them.

What I don't understand is why these guys jeopardize their careers with their off the field activities. Vick is a perfect example of this. Granted, the dude isn't the best quarterback the NFL has ever seen, but he made a huge name for himself and had the world at his fingertips. I guess I just don't know why or how he wouldn't think about this dogfighting thing and how it could fuck up his career and image.

I mean, if I was making millions and millions of dollars per year with a contract and endorsements, there is no chance I would ever do something that stupid and illegal to fuck that up. Even his little bro, Marcus. Pulling a gun on a couple kids in a parking lot? Are you fucking kidding me? Dude was pretty much guaranteed stupid money in the NFL just based on his last name being Vick, but still managed to screw that up pretty well.

trotter is still good but in the twilight of his career. the decision to get rid of garcia was because mcnabb was slated to be back in october, and feely/#1 draft pick could do well enough until division games started. stalworth just signed somewhere else.

Tom Brady is gonna put up ill fantasy numbers this year. And I bet their running game picks up big time just because their passing game is looking so damn good. Too bad I refuse to ever have a Patriot on my fantasy team.

trotter is one of my favorite players and i'm not happy about it but omar gaither is going to be pretty nasty hopefully. garcia likes men and stallworth was expendable seeing he played in only 12 games. i'm pretty sure kevin curtis can catch 38 passes and either way reggie brown is the future.

in other eagles new, rumors have it that the falcons are interested in qb kelly holcomb. i'd take a draft pick for him

I missed the first 8 picks or so and the cpu drafted Tomlinson, Harrison, Steve Smith and McNabb for me. I think my team's pretty solid aside from the TE spot, I would've rather got someone like Gates or Tony Gonzalez than Shockey.
