I had the chance to try Big Holes' Mythical White last night. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really outstanding either.
My first run of homebrew is now in the making. I'm excited.

I tried one a couple months ago, and enjoyed it. I wouldn't call it extraordinary, but definitely a pretty tasty brew.

VB is by far the worst beer i've ever had. My personal favourite for taste and carb reasons is Hahn Super-Dry.
Had some wheat beer tonight, it was good. Had some Kilkenny, it was shit. Had some Carlsberg.....it's probably the best lager in the world.

So I am on a bowling league to win money, so I don't drink while I'm there because high scores are the money makers obviously. Obnoxious drunk team is right next to us. My buddy Anthony gives 'em a piece of his mind, and World War III almost broke out. The bouncer shows up and says "I'm the bouncer." I reply to him with, "Oh are your sleeves rolled up to signify your title? This has nothing to do with you." He and the team pursue to be assholes for a few more minutes then the shot girl comes around and tells me they were gonna order us a round of Shirley Temples. After she told me that, I went right up to the old men and said, "Where's the Shirley Temples? I'll drink you all under the table." I drank three pitchers of Bell's Oberon Ale[the underlying reason for this post] after taking ten shots and then told 'em all to blow me while I take their money.
Edit: They were shots in a tube so it was probably 5 shots in reality.

did you pour it into a glass or drink straight from the bottle? that makes a huge difference. I poured it into a glass and I thought it was the best macro wheat.

Whatever A-B makes is generic and trendy. Generally speaking, whatever "new" product they come out with is late and tired.
Bud Light Lime is supposed to lure Corona drinkers away but little do the Corona/Lime consumers know that they both taste like liquidated shits. Remember the disaster that is fucking CLAMATO CHELADO (also available in Light)? What boggles my mind is that you shit on Hoegaarden for being watered down and then put Bud Light Wheat on a pedestal.
A-B is clear that they're in it for profit-which is fine since making a return is pretty important-but it's also clear that their quality is incomparable.

I believe that quality at A-B is very high. Think how much quality control goes into having a beer brewed in NY tasting exactly the same as a beer brewed in Oregon. As for hoegaarden, its not watered down. It just tastes like dump imo and is way overpriced. BL lime was fucking gross. I never said that BL golden wheat was the best shit ever, I just said it caught me off guard. I was expecting it to be just as shitty as BL Lime, but surprisingly I liked it much more than any of the macro wheats I have had.
I believe light beers in general taste like ass.

My friend(who is one of those kids who only drinks Budweiser and refuses to try anything else) tried the wheat with me the other day cause I said its a lot better than he would think. He said it was a lot better than he could have expected and bought some for himself. It's a good purchase no doubt.

So I was browsing the beer aisle today to get beer for my friend's birthday tomorrow and I came across a special Blue Moon brew called Blue Moon Grand Cru, which was brewed to celebrate the blue moon that was on New Year's eve. Has anyone else seen this/tried it? It was like 13$ for a 750ml bottle (the only size they sold it in), and has almost twice the alcohol content of normal blue moon. I picked one up for my friend whos birthday it will be because she likes blue moon, but I kind of want to drink it myself.
