Blessthefall.
They were touring with Norma Jean for the Radio Rebellion tour, and they played first, and i thought they were so good, that i bought their cd, and they are just as good recorded.

One of their inspirations is Saosin, and i thought that was pretty neat.

Yea I didn't really care about them too much...along with Misery Signals.
Fear Before's set was awesome with mouth and cassandra and horses...It was great.
BTBAM was whatever...
And Norma Jean's set was perfect...I loved their films during the set, it was like a horror movie and it was awesome!!!!!!

blessthefall = "metal" AFI, the singer reminds me so much of Davey Havok, it's creepy.

And whoever talked down to Misery Signals DOES need to get smited.

I did like the chill parts of misery signals set though...But to me (TO ME...)
they're repetitive...I like a band whose songs sound different.
And BTBAM, I just never got into them...
but hey, there are people out there who hate Norma Jean and I love them!

But Redeemer does not sound the same on every song...
I will admit that O God is repetitive...except for Shaun Luu and Bayonetwork.

But for me there is no compromise with BTBAM, their show was sweet, I would throwdown.,

How can you not get into BTBAM? I just don't understand. Redeemer is probably the worst album NJ has put out yet, and that really isn't saying much.

But I see pretty much everyone has an ACB picture, and that is awesome.
Because THEY are my favorite band by far....and I have yet to hear someone say they suck...

Funny story, saw these guys live few months back, this girl I know hooked up with one of the guys in the band. And guess what, now she has mono!

I thought it was funny.

And when I watched them play I kept hearing guitar parts in their songs that reminded me of another band, then I realized theres so many parts that sound like BNO guitar riffs. I hate them.

Finally someone who kinda agrees with me!

well, I went to the radio rebellion tour...
and I didn't really think Bless The Fall was Awesome. But it's not like they suck.It's just not something that strikes my attention...
But when Fear before played I think, "motelroom.grand piano" the end is kinda hardcore-ish..and I liked it.
Along with "shallows" but the new stuff(to me) is lyrical genius and I like, I think it's, Matt's singing...the other singer that's not Dave...

btbam to me is the best one on that tour.

Bless the Fall: I stopped listening to trendy cliche scence trend music a couple years ago. And here comes the breakdown! But seriously, there are a million bands who sound exactly like them. Breakdown, 2-step, Breakdown, 2-step, Breakdown, etc.
Misery Signals: Love this band. Amazing muscians
Fear Before: Singer got hit in the face with a guitar head, was on the ground for like 10 mins, came up bleeding and said "the show must go on." But other than that, I could never get into them and I thought their set was boring.
BTBAM: Loved them since the S/T. Always will. Tommy's voice and all the instruments sound so full and intense live. Best set by far. And plus they brought out the drumset with two bass drums instead of just a double pedal, which they didn't have the last time I saw them, I really dug it. And they played Bicycle Race.
Norma Jean: I stopped listening to trendy cliche scene trend music a couple years ago. (But I'll admit I do still love the musical creativity of Underoath.

Horrid band. Trendy, generic shitfest.

I personally cannot fucking wait to hear the full album. I've listened to the short clips released of some of the songs and it sounds like a seriously brutal album.

i actually really like blessthefall, they're in my top 10 favorite bands.
i'm really excited to hear the new cd, but the atticus tour isn't coming near me so i can't see them.

listening to the new songs. I don't know why. I am not too fond of this kind of music...

anyways. my thoughts:

-new songs have a lot of energy (which is a good thing)
-who ever mastered did a poor job since the songs sound very boxy
-songs sound very generic, but then again its hard not to in this genre.
-songs are not very easy to follow... poor songwriting.
-a lot of unnecessary double kick
-both songs sound pretty similar... but it is hard to prevent this in this genre I guess (thus why this genre is gay as shit).

There is my insight. enjoy your boringly br00tal music.
