Is glassjaw working on a new CD? I believe I heard this somewhere. I would have no clue. I went to there website to look and couldnt find anything so they're probably not working on one.

:roll: im not a huge fan of "hardcore" per say but they are a good band and the newest release is much more....nice to my ears. the singer really has a nice voice. he should use it more.

**side note** im in hollister the other day and they let you pick cds to play on a touch screen. oddly enough the newest glassjaw release was there so i picked out "Mu Empire" and "the gillette caualoade of sports"
needless to say the kiddies had no idea what the fuck was going on. especially with the annoucer thingy break in gillette.

yeah you should never refer to Glassjaw as "hardcore" again... please.

i don't like glassjaw nor do i like north of november. but saosin loves north of november, my cousin is their manager, and they are acquaintences of mine.. and to get to the point, they sound exactly like glassjaw.

Glassjaw is about the greatest thing ever...and Daryl is working on his side project Head Automatica...but i think a new GJ cd is in the works as well.

ill call them what i want. hardcore to me is heavier punk that border on being straight rock with the screaming being dominate. i place them in the same area as "As I lay daying" except slightly lighter because of the new album. its my classification, you are not a music expert or creator of music itself. the old GJ is a lot of screaming, the new glassjaw is like a drugged up finch. still good shit though

I classify Glassjaw as hardcore and As I Lay Dying as metalcore...but keyword there is "I" so ya whatever. One thing is I must correct SFD...Glassjaw's new CD isnt a drugged up Finch...Finch is a shitty Glassjaw only on a couple of songs...Daryl guest vocals on 2 of the tracks...the rest of the cd is pure shit pop punk stuff except for maybe What It Is To Burn.

daryl just finished an electronic solo album. a new glassjaw album is indeed in the works for a 2004 release. he says they have no idea what it's going to sound like.

I love my glassjaw...especially W/T. The solo project is with Dan the Automater or something like that i beleive and they are called Head Automatica...go check em out at www.mp3.com.

Oh, by the way...I thought the deftones loved glassjaw...I am a HUGE deftones fan but chinos being an ass lately. Even though the shit he said about bands like Metallica and Korn are true...

I think it's safe to say that GlassJAw is most likely my favoritest band ever. Oh yes, Chino and Daryl are pals. I can't wait to see Daryl and Dan's work with Head Automatica. And I anticipate the new album will be good to, I really liked "Natural Born Farmer"
