Haha, I think it was like the sort of thing you say around your friends but not in public and it just slipped. He was talking about how he's been practicing his bowling in the White House alley and he's like "I have a new high score (one hundred something)." and then Jay Leno and him both started laughing and he was like "It's like the special olympics" or something to that effect, but it was really quick and there was still laughter from before so I don't know that everyone caught it. I knew he was going to shit for it as soon as I heard it, but it didn't seem blatant or premeditated or like he feels dominant over mentally retarded people, it was just like a little slip like you'd say around your friends.

I was watching it with my room mates gf and she is super PC (politically correct) it seems and when he said that I started laughing hysterically and she just kinda looked at me strangely. I couldn't tell if it was because she didn't catch what he had said or if she thought it was bad to be laughing at that. I was laughing half at waht he said, and half because I was a little surprised he said it.

ugh joel mchale is so amazing. his stand up is great too!
i just watched Party Down, a new show on Starz. First ep is up for free on starz.com. Has a TON of talent behind it-- written by Rob Thomas of Vmars fame, co-written /produced by Paul Rudd, directed by Fred Savage. Stars Ken Marino, Adam Scott, Lizzy Kaplan, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen (Dick Casablancas on VMars), and Jane Lynch. Definitely a bunch of laugh-out-loud moments, go check it out.

Party Down is so great already. So much talent. Could they not sell this anywhere better than Starz though? This needs to be seen by a larger audience.

I was watching Encore and saw a preview for this show. I got really excited. Then, to my surprise, I find out it is on Starz. I don't have Starz. What kind of cruel game are they playing here!? I think Encore and Starz are in cahoots. Is this show gonna be worth subscribing to Estrellaz?
p.s. VMars movie in the works. I don't care bout nobody else now. Ya hear? I miss me some VMars.

Yeah granted if Generico was healthy for the taping, a fast paced title defense would have been a great way to kick off the show. Also I probably would have flipped this show and next weeks so they could have established Nigel as the champ. But yeah it was a good intro.

I'm constantly "watching" tv. a lot of the time it's old episodes of shows i like playing on my computer and i'm not paying much attention to it. but occassionally i will sit down with the intention of JUST watching something (particularly if it's new or i havent seen it yet. for instance last night i had how i met your mother on shuffle for most of the evening, and then put season 2 of FotC on before going to bed.

I believe they've been replaying it a lot on HDNET, so I'm sure someone'll stream it. Actually I can probably hook you up with a link for megavideo that has the whole first episode.

I know I'm the minority, but I just don't get Danny McBride's appeal. And I'm constantly giving him chances trying to see what everyone thinks is so funny.
