i decided to give this it's own thread because they just released their new album and it rips my fuckin face off. when they didnt have their shit together (countless member changes) i kept it confined to the appropriate channels but i honestly feel like this is way more deserving now in light that this is clearly not just some local band. the line-up has been solid for almost 2 years now, they finally found a chemistry and really refined their sound. this is the best shit out right now. i think it's extremely atypical and quaintly unique. they will be releasing an additional song each week for the next 2 weeks.. so let's keep on top of it.

Alright, nothing that rips faces off. All I heard was melodic ABR. vocalist needs to be thicker and stronger. Drummer does well it seems.
And a new layout haha

that is the fault of who ever produced the album, not the actual vocalist.

i agree they need a new layout. i dont think they're just a melodic version of ABR tho.. i really dont consider them run-of-the-mill at all, you dont think there sound is mostly different than what's been churned out the last 4 years or so?

I think it sounds almost EXACTLY as what has been churned out during the past 4 years or so...

I've heard it before a few times here, don't get me wrong their not shit or anything. they're probably good at what they do. Just a solid recording and bit of something diff here n there and they'll probably go somewhere.

i still have tons of love for music. i just dont settle for cookie cutter bullshit. mediocrity is boring. everything in a band has to stand out for me. especially vocals.
i have gave tons of bands chances... it usually goes like this:
music comes in... sounds rad... building up... sick shit... vocalsss..... OFF!
