oh dern, Im looking for a really tough challenge, but it's all good, we'll race a few times... i take it your buying the internet adaptor, or already own it? I still have yet to buy that. but I dont have any games for PS2 so I'ma wait till I buy GT4 first.

I'd kick whoever's ass in GT3 and or GT4, one thing I wish that game had, more than 6 flipping Cars per race, Gets boring, you race the track more than the cars.

yea it definitly didnt live up to ts huge hype. its still a fun game thoguh. like, aside from the massive build up, that is.
The doom3 engine is amazing with the bump mapping and graphics little to dark for my taste though. Overall i don't enjoy it nearly as much as farcry which also has really nice graphics and a cool engine.
hl:2 is going to kick dooms ass just because of a better story and gameplay.

an emulator is a program that mimics what the console it self does. So a Sega Emulator is a Sega Genisis on your computer basically. The Roms are the data from the games, ripped into a computer file, so you can play your games on the computer. So here's an analogy to have it make more sense.
Cartridge is to Sega Genisis as Rom is to Emulator.

no, you'd have to download a rom to play them. I don't believe it supports the original game disks.

Nope, emulators will only run roms. Putting the CDs in wouldn't do anything, unfortunately.
