Sounds like they ruined the multiplayer from what I've read. They should have left it how it was on Chaos Theory instead of dumbing it down to a regular FPS

It's awesome, being a spy makes you feel so smooth as you and 2 others climb around and hide everywhere. I think it's flawless, and I just bought the game and it's so tight. Anyone that's bored should go buy it now.

Have you played Chaos Theorys multiplayer? I really liked the old way with all the strategy and tactical thinking, and from the sounds of that they pretty much took all of it out and dumbed it down like crazy.

MGS2 > All Splinter Cells

Yeah, it's different but still really fun. And MGS2 was the worst Metal Gear Solid IMO, so maybe MGS > Splinter Cell, but not MGS2

Did anybody ever play Secret of Mana on Super Nintendo? Because that game's badass and I've been wanting to get another game like that where it's a multiplayer RPG.

I haven't liked a Final Fantasy game since FF 2 and haven't played one since FF 7, mind you. That style got so retarded and repetitive.
The Platypus
I loved Secret of Mana, played it through several times.
Kid.
Did anyone ever play Ghosts & Ghouls for Sega Genesis? I've been playing it on Gens for the past few days, and it's such a fun game. I love how you can actually count the pixels.
CircaSirvibing
I was playing that on my emulator a few months back. Its gloriously frustrating. I'd really like to play the new version on the PSP but dont want to fork out the money to actually buy one.

Is it possible to download xbox360 or xbox games, like iso, and emulate them through the actual xbox, from your computer...or anything like this?

Just rented Bully.

You can do that with an Action Replay on the original Xbox. Bobby McD did it if I recall correctly.
Bobby
Yeah, if you mod your original Xbox, you can download games and FTP them to your Xbox.

Links to everything else

Its pretty much the same style as the old one, but 2.5D (Still 2D but everything is rendered in 3D). And I guess theres magic and stuff, but I forget if thats new.

Holy balls. Now I want a PSP. sad.gif

Played the Guitar Hero II demo last night and all I have to say, Anthony, how the hell did you 5 star YYZ?

I got through it first try but just barely, I played through it probably 10 times trying to get a 4 star but it just wasnt happening. I love how the fret board shakes and the lights dim when you mess up a big streak. Im so damn excited.

I'm really really awesome.

Ummm, once I got the tempo of the main riff down, it wasn't too bad. Once you can nail that, use your star power at the fast double picking part that goes into the three note chord part for mad points. Other than that, I don't really have any other tips. The end of the solo makes my fingers hurt. Such a tough run.

Well it started with Jon. Then two of my brother's friends started playing and got him playing again, then both of them bothered me to get it, and then I bought the battle chest. Bastards

Battlefield 2142 is really, really awesome if you can actually get it working.

That game is so pesky it literally took me 3 hours to get to install and work properly. If anyone else is having problems with it let me know, I can probably help you out.

Are the stars all based on how big your longest streak is? Thats what I've always thought and I think thats kind of stupid. It should be like a ratio of your points, streak, and percentage of notes hit. By the end I was getting the tempo of the riff down and could hit a few in a row but couldnt keep it all the way through. That solo is just crazy when it goes to the part where you have to hit 1st 3rd 5th over and over super fast. The practice looping mode will definatly come in handy.

I always thought your stars were based upon your points. Your point amount is pretty closely with how long your streaks are though since you get more points for hitting more notes in a row.
Uncle Fundip
Aye, there are various point thresholds that denote your Star Ranking.

Longer combos give you x4 multiplier for more notes. Using the star power with lots of notes in a row can give you a x8 multiplier, giving lots of points.

And the whole solo is just oddly timed, and difficult in general. It's all practice, I was playing Guitar Freaks before I played real guitar, so I've been doing it for a while.

Kid.
I'm down. I started playing it when I was like nine, and did pretty regularly for a long time. Now every couple of months I get in the mood to play, so I do, and then get bored of it after like a week. It's still installed though, so if you want let me know when you want to play. I'm still decent, even though I usually just play Use Map Settings games.

Anyone here know of any cheap alternatives to wireless adapters for the Xbox 360 to play online? I'm not trying to pay 100 bucks, but I wanna play online wirelessly.
Ambush
Yeah dude. $100 bucks is pretty steep, especially for a college kid. Don't they know that there's an alcohol budget for us?

Anyway, my first thoughts were eBay and here's what I found: a wireless adapter from around $50-$60 bucks. Not bad, definitely better than dropping a Benjamin on some video game attachment.

I read some of the feedback and he sounds like a pretty legit seller, but you never know.
