I'm so stoked on Air and Earth. I can only imagine what the songs off them are like live, considering how the Fire and Water songs are live.

I noticed that they used a Korg pad on a lot of songs in the new album, it seems that every band and their mother are using it these days, anyways i fucking love it.
Charlie.

Ive found the exact synth sound of that first video.
If you have reason, search rhodes and its like the 14th patch.

Go listen to it because its not a standard rhodes piano sound.
On a similar note, Thrice has even admitted to using garage band on records.

True, but that would probably cause him to hold up the line. The real question is did he pay with cash or credit?

I use Garageband more than I use Pro Tools these days, but Logic is my main DAW. Sometimes things come out better using different software, and I'm not going to let the recording suffer because I'm a Pro Tools snob, you know?

listen to night diving on II. theres a GB loop on that playing through the whole song. ever since i got my mac, ive been noticing how many commercials and tv shows use GB loops to make quick songs or backing/transitional music.

I'm pretty sure the Jay-Z song Success has a garage band loop through the entire song.

No offense to ya Charlie, you're a legit dude...but...I think that when fans explore an artist/bandmember's personal life, its just kinda rediculous. Just saying man, on a few places everyones like "OMG WHAT RELIGION IS ________", "IS HE/SHE MARRIED" and bullshit along the lines of that. Who cares, if they make good music, that is all that matters.

QUOTE
We started practicing for the upcoming tour and are aiming to have around 30 songs total to be able to have in rotation. We usually create a setlist or two having only a couple extra songs to pull in if we want to, but we’re trying to do things a bit different this time by having a giant pool of songs we pull songs out of. The point is to keep things fresh, interesting, and a bit more spontaneous. We’ll see how that goes…Anyhow, we’re breaking out some older songs we haven’t played in a long time, and of course, are learning songs off of Air & Earth as well.
Cheers,
Teppei
Interesting. Hopefully I'll be able to see some wicked Illusion of Safety riffage alongside the newer stuff they're playing now when I see them live.

I hope they aren't cheaper, but than again I would honestly pay more for Thrice. They would be worth my money. So I really can't get mad if they sell them cheaper. Can't wait!
Note

I am sure they are because thats what those sits are usually for. I'm not upset that I paid 28 bucks for thrice. I'm mad that it turns out I paid 18 for thrice/circa including the 2.50 building fee and 10 to ticketmaster. I was thinking of what it would take to start a site similar to them but instead of 10 charge like 3-4 bucks fees. But who knows if that would work.
