Kids around my school have been talking about this guy named Papoose? Anyone heard of him?

And what are the thoughts on the new Nas album?
Sound of Liberation
I love Hip Hop is Dead, and I especially love the message in the album. Minus one song ("Who Killed It"), it's an album that you could play through once and really enjoy; nearly as fluid as It Was Written, Stillmatic, and Illmatic. Nas is also one of the only mainstream artists with the decency to question whether Hip Hop is still core to what it was when it first started. And because of that the album really reminds me of a 90's flavored album as if it was released at the peak of Hip Hop's talent peak around 1994/1995. He raps alot about the past and questions the future of the industry, and even emphatically saying he won't embrace the new state of Hip Hop. Really compelling.

Papoose is pretty tight. I don't like much of his music, but Alphabetic Slaughter is really tight.

I'm no guru on the matter. I think he falls under the category of DJ. He hooks up with rappers a lot. I've heard a couple versions of that beat. The one there is on the CD Deadringer. That's the one Wells Fargo uses on their commercials now. He does some pretty cool stuff.
Bobby
Yeah I looked him up, I doubt he did this one for Yak because he usually works with some dude named DJcrazyGlue or something. But I have no idea man, thanks for telling me it was Wells Fargo, I could never remember what it was from haha.

RJD2 and Yak Ballz used to run in the same circles (Weathermen/OH-10/Eastern Conference Records), so its no surprise they worked together.

This is an RJD2 beat, in fact in the song Yak references RJD2 ("RJ, what up?")
Bobby
^Genius.

Edit: Fuck, now I gotta listen till I hear him say RJ what up?

Edit 2: I heard it!
