you can stream the whole album at their site, the new singer Howard is too eighties on the vocals, the music sounds thrown together with plain old "gug gugs" and galloping beats but none of it really stands out compared to their last. Their old singer Jesse was way more of a natural. In my opinion they already proved that they can get good production sound but they dropped off the originality scale when it came to new material.

I happen to like the new album a lot, especially Breathe Life. AOJB and the new album both have great songs on it though IMO.

It blows the new In Flames away, now that is what I call a disappointing album.

I like the new KSE a lot, I think it's a very good album (my favorite: Rose Of Sharyn). I was positively surprised by Howard Jones' vocals. I saw KSE live in 2002 and I thought: "OK, this guy can shout, but his singing voice is terrible." But IMO he did a great job on the new record, pehaps he took some singing lessons.

i think as a whole the new record is awesome im feelin' it alot more than the last lots of nice little touches. xoxoxo

I like the new God Forbid personally... I enjoy the guitar work on it... reminds me of the In Flames back in the day(Lunar Strain-Clayman, miss those days) with the way all of the solos and melodies sound. A lot of people here hate metal so you wouldn't be the only one.


Anyways since this thread is regading KSE:

Jesse Leach=Howard Jones IMO.

What aggrevated me with KSE is that the guitarists never really show off.... they definately have talent somewhere... they only show it briefly with the solo in Breathe Life, it shows that they have at least SOME talent.

Whatever though... both albums are actually pretty different.

i think the new kse is absolutely glorious.

that's cool you guys like it. I just didn't find anything that matched Vide Infra, Numbered Days, Last Serenade etc. and the single (Rose of Sharyn) was the most catchy thing on the whol album and yet it didn't blow me away. And on a side note I thought the first song was a Living Sacrifice "Bloodwork" ripoff a bit. Once again just my opinion.

i like ksE...and yea...i kinda liked the old singer more...
