haha anthony told me his new band wasnt going to have a board because of all the drama in this one :shock:

Its spreading the word, what ever way nessecary for people to find out about high and driving. I'm not one of those lil scenesters who wants to keep everything underground so they can act smug and pretend to be cool by knowing obscure bands. Its just about the music and getting as many people as possible to hear it. LJ is a good way to spread the word and the only way to do that is through a community. Message boards are a good way for people to get information (ie like this one) and from that last post its understandable why he wouldnt want a message board with immature kids like that on this one...

Honestly just spread the word. Its about the music, its about High and Driving.

and how about what the band wants???

I mean not that they really matter at all, i mean they are just the ones making the music we love, it's not like it should matter to them.

haha wow. yea I'm sure Anthony is going to be like "no please don't have a LJ community where people can hear my music. and its free advertising, and its getting my stuff out there" haha riiiight. that would be like saying "no i dont want free genuine exposure" do you have no sense of music business. The message board is just for fans to discuss his music and possible share other artists, he doesnt necessarily have to control or post on it. Its a place for people to expression their opinions on his music and other music and help get his stuff around. And in alot of aspects I understand why he would be weary about a board with the type of people that are on this one that seem to only care about his personal business, or the type of jeans he wears, because honestly i could careless what brand of jeans he wears. I feel he is a very talented individual that deserves for people to hear his music and share it with others, end of story. The message board is not for people to talk about his hair or clothes just the music. It's more like a "fan" board. If people have questions for anthony i would persume they would email him directly. so honestly everyone needs to stop fretting over the details and see the big picture, these are just outlets for people to hear/ be exposed to High and Driving.

guys, all he's trying to do is spread the word about h+d, chill.

it doesn't really matter if the band/ant wants a board or not, they are still gonna be made, there is no law saying you can't make a dissussion forum about a band you like without their permission, he did it with the best of intentions so i don't see the problem, no matter what people are going to try and get into the personal lives of bands (thats probobly why ant doesnt want one, coz of all that type of drama)... but thats just because people become very interested in others they look up to and want to know about them... its not gonna stop so why try.

I don't see a problem with creating a livejounal community or a forum/message board. What's so bad about spreading the word? It's not like Anthony's probably gonna keep all this a secret. I'm sure there are things he want to be kept secret but I'm sure he wants people to know about his new... um... project?

And even if he didn't want a message board, people will still want to talk about him. He/you guys can't avoid things like that.

No one's hurting anyone by discussing stuff like that. Just as long as there's no big argument or anything in the boards.

Speaking of highanddriving, Sammy, do you want to make a domain for it? I've got a reseller account already, and I'm able to host an unlimited amount of domains.

You'd just have to pay for domain registration.
