i find the cgi movies are all awesome, i can't think of a terrible one ive ever seen. I think they are all so well made and appeal to such a wide audience

the subtle humor in them is the best.

yeah, even though there is a lot of stuff in there that kids will find hilarious there always seems to be like inuendo and that subtle humor that only an adult will get which is awesome

I don't think she's a 'bad' actress, it's just that her character on Smallville has been written to be so annoying that even the best actress in the world couldn't pull it off without making the audience grind their teeth a little.

Her other roles have also been pretty shitty parts as well, so who knows if she's only a mediocre actress or a possibly okay one? Either way, it's not her acting skills I'm concerned about.

So apparently a 'Dune' remake/re-adaptation is in the works, with Peter Berg at the helm. One on hand the inner geek in me is going ZOMGZ YES, but then the elitist prick inside also says 'No way this will be better than the book. No way.'

I'm quite conflicted, to tell the truth. But this project won't even start until the WGA strike ends, so no point worrying. Meh.

Hellboy 2 looks cool. I thought the first one should of of been way better, though, so we'll see.

Damn I'm going to have to concur with Anthony about that. Pan's Labyrinth is a heartwarming tale of faith and fairy tales.

I really liked Pan's Labrynith, I thought the juxtaposition between all the fantasy and war stuff was great.

I didn't hear about the Burton thing, but I did hear that someone was going to use Todd McFarlane's vision of Alice in Wonderland, which had Alice as a bondage queen or something. would of ruled, but there was too much of a public outcry.
