I actually really really like You Come Before You. He experiements more with the vocal melodies more instead of just screaming and then having one section of singing. It's just good, dammit.

I'd have to say Ptw went downhill after the first 2 albums.. Still an ok band though.

I honestly think You Come Before You was a much better album than the other ones, just for the fact that they kinda broke out of the metalcore mold and did their own thing.

But...

opposite of december is the best.

sorry to say cuz i used to love this band but anything after Tear From the Red was way dissapointing.......i love them as people but i even tole TFTR was weak for them, OOD.....is the best !!!! by far

i dont know.. but i loved YCBY. especially Jeffrey's vocals.. i thought they were amazing, the way he transitioned between singing and screaming.. and the whole instrumental part.. they didnt even have to use double bass too often to make an impact in the drumming.

i'm a huge fan of PTW and my favorite is by far YCBY.. OOD was a bit too chaotic for me, his vocals too sketchy and the instuments a bit cluttered... TFTR was a step up, but none of the songs stood out too much to me. YCBY was to me the epitome of the PTW sound.

I could never really get into PTW despite all the recommendations from peopel with similar musical tastes.

yea that was pretty bad......but i hope ptw isnt breaking up they are awesome live and i love their old stuff, new stuff ehh but they are still a great band

right on, no matter what people say.....PTW is not ol school hardcore but one of the older new school hardcore bands, if that makes any sense to anyone....... and to say that You come..blah blah blah album broke out of the metalcore is just silly, thats the album that placed them in the metalcore genre, it doesnt have the PTW sound, its sounds generically polished....imo.....
