What does your discography include, Taylor?
Taylor.

what?
How many bands have you been involved with?
Taylor.
Aug 11 2005, 04:47 PM
real that made it past a few shows: 3
other: 3
6 in all
in a span of 3 years.
Not to mention all the ones I've heard had talent in them. THough hXccccccc, talent involved. I also thought everything in your genre has been done already, but one of them surprised me. This recent one of yours has alot of cliche things in it. Really sounds like I've heard the music before.

RSJ is the most technical band ive been in to date.
That may be true, but it doesnt mean it hasnt been done before.
The off beat mutes sound very familiar.

I liked the two songs that I heard Taylor. It sort of reminded me of Darkest Hour. I'm not a big metalcore guy or whatever, but I can sense talent in the band. muchos kudos.

www.purevolume.com/garcharI'll do it. Only problem. My keyboard is a cheaper one, so it doesnt sound THAT great.
And cool edit pro skips when I record. (which is why there is no new ILM stuff around) I need new software for recording. I lost WaveLab.

I'm working on sort of a ambient acoustic background music thing.
It's a song that would be in the movie, when the guy is walking away rejected in the rain to his car. Then he sits down in the car and starts crying. Then he gets out and goes back up and is about to knock on the door, but thinks better, and walks home in the rain because his car won't start.
I wanna record it tomorrow, but I might be lazy, not sure yet

Otherwise it would sound like shit. There is alot on the 3 fret on the high e string, and that fret bar is coming up causing lots of buzz. I'd love too though.
I'm listening to what i just recorded for fun of it, and it sounds decent except for that....

Dan, your recording sounds like the timing is off on a track
Did you record with a metronome?
Something I did this morning. Early this morning. I think it sucks.

Yeah my friend and I made a mock-emo band no matter how hypocritical it may be.
We called ourselves E.M.O. and it stands for something totally secretive.
But yeah we have three songs up there and they suck pretty much but some people enjoy it so yeah whatever go check it out.

Okay. Fixed the timing problem--i accidentally moved a whole track over :-P. Also did some mixing to the track, although no delay track panning. I don't think I'll mess with it anymore because it sounds kind of rustic and that's what I'm going for.

yeah dude our old stuff from the "EP" was more spontaneous and funny. one of our friends had these emo gay lyrics that he had been working on for serious and colin tried to sing to our gutiars and ended up just reading the lyrics. our new stuff (the first 2 on myspace) i think we're trying a lil too hard..its actually sounding kinda cool. we're trying to stray away from that.
we're pushing the envelope with our debut record.
