If anyone is lacking either Thru Being Cool or Stay What You Are, they're botted on absolutepunk.
dudemanbro
I feel, contrary to most ppl, that Stay what you are is much better than TBC. Don't get me wrong - i do love both but SWYA just has a much more refined sound.

I eagerly await their new album and hope Chris's voice goes down an octave
carrie
I read on their website, once, that he sings like that because it hurt his voice too much the way he used to sing. I guess he kept losing it, or something?

The way he sings on In Reverie is like a whole new person.
Lori
I guess I will be listening to this band A LOT in the coming 2 weeks. Thank you so much, russ, again.
Justin.Ryan
i think it really depends on which one you got first (swya or tbc) and when you got it.

i got through being cool right when it came out and, at the time, it was such a new fresh sound. something so cool that no one, with the exception of lifetime, was really doing. and the ones that were, werent doing it nearly as well.

or maybe not. i dont know hha
Robert Hamburger
i like them both equally

im sorry im leaving is still my jam
traci
stay what you are was always my favorite.
xBUTTERYOURBREADx
Through Being Cool. I was the ONLY kid in my school listening to that shit in 99. woop woop!

Vin Diesel discovered Saves the Day in 1946

Old but who cares, from July 16th:

Hey hey! S'appenin', y'all? Chillin'? Staying out of the heat? We've camped out in Electric Lady Bug studio, to make our new album. We started pre-production yesterday, and we are now in full swing, blazing through songs in rehearsal getting ready to lay down the tracks. We are excited to be working with Steve Evetts, who produced our first two albums, Can't Slow Down and Through Being Cool. We can all feel the fireworks in the air, and cannot wait to share the new songs with you. We are currently working on 18 new songs and by the time we're finished, we should have 14 brand new tracks for your listening enjoyment. The songs are short and fast and angry and hopefully will make you want to tear your ears off your head. So far, some of the working titles of the songs are "Head For The Hills", "Sound The Alarm", "Diseased", and "Eulogy". The rock is so outrageous it makes us want to shave off the top of our heads, just so we can do the comb over. Far out, huh? Check out the site this summer for an all new look and much more new content, including video clips of us working in the studio, and album recommendations, and live web chats, studio journals, and more. It's gonna be one scorcher of a summer, and we plan to bring the heat! Check it out, y'all! A Summer of Fun at the Saves The Day site. Peace out, homies! Chris

I'm pretty excited about this album.

At this point I have to say:

1.Stay What You Are
2.Through Being Cool
3.I'm Sorry I'm Leaving
4.Can't Slow Down
5.In Reverie

2. Through being cool
2. Stay what you are
4. Cant slow down

saves the day is probably one of the best bands ever.
i saw them last year with Hot Rod Circuit and Boys Night Out
it was intense, they did play alot of old stuff, just a couple of new songs
Ambush
This band's lyrics are so morbid and awesome, it's almost impossible to hate them.

In fact, I think that if someone does have a hate for this band, they deserve 10,000 butt punches.
ben
I remember that robby guy doesn't like them.
11
im into their older songs

ben
yea, i'll wait until it's confirmed. but you're probably right. =(

Saves the Day is going on tour with The Early November, Say Anything, and Senses Fail this Fall. It should be cool, I'm going to the Tulsa date...unless an OKC date pops up in the future.

that reminds me of something funny. My friend had his Saves the Day shirt on, and we were referring to them as their abbreviation, STD. Another friend of mine said you cant do that since "the" doesnt count, its an article. He said for them to be STD they have to be something like Saves the Turkey Day.
Robert Hamburger
Gay.

But,

If youre going to see a concert, its not like it will be going on at 4pm (unless my family is the only ones who eat early like that). You fucking watch the local high school rivalry game, eat some fucking turkey while watching the NFL, then you get your ass to the concert to see some fucking Saves the Day.
Ian
then you watch chris conley shit himself on stage!

This band is contagious for kodak moments and memories. In Reverie was a let down sorta...but I'm getting th dead bird and the butterflies and vines from the front cover tatted to meeee arm.
ben
I like In Reverie a lot.
Signal to Noise
you would like In Reverie a lot, you would.
ben
Technically, if I really "would", and judging by my ways of constantly smoking pot, I would like albums done by TOOL, Slightly Stoopid, Phish, The String Cheese Incident, The "DEAD", and so on.
Lori
TOOL are amazing.
what's your point?
ben
That potheads listen to TOOL more often than not. I'm not bashing TOOL, though I used to like Aenima a lot more than present.

And oh yea, that I have an opinion...that was also my point. I'm sure you'll find that point once you investigate human brain theory.
Lori
I never thought TOOL was popular pot music.
ben
Oh it may not be where you are from, but around here, every person I know that puffs has Lateralus in their cd collection, burned or not.
Lori
Around here it's more like Ten Years After and stuff like that.
ben
I've also noticed The Mars Volta has a gigantic pothead following ever since Frances the Mute was released. They can't get enough of Cassandra Gemini, those funny reeferheads.
Lori
Yeah, that's what I listen to when i'm high.
Or, believe it or not, new TFOT.
ben

that actually sounds pretty plausible.

tool and rjd2.
Signal to Noise
RJD2 is awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Prettier in Plaid
FUCK! RJD2! BRYAN!

You were gonna dimme that up.

Anyway. How fucking funny. I basically just puffed and listened to Tool for like an hour just now. Starting with Push-I, then Eulogy, then The Grudge, then Lateralus, Then Ticks and Leaches and so on. Mars Volta is good too. So is Saosin actually IMO. Love Blood Brothers. Pinback..lemme tell ya. Deftones is pretty damn good. Wow...I need to shut up.

one more.

Pink Floyd.

I'm out! *drops mic*

If you still need RJD2, I can help you out.
