So, the girl I'm talking to flat out told me she's still getting over her ex and wants to take things very slow, which I have no problem with. I'm really not trying to screw this up, and I know that if we rush things, it'll just end up failing. So, we're in the "really good friends" stage.

Yeah, you're not kidding. She's having a tough time, since the guy cheated on her a lot and he keeps calling and texting her, saying he loves her and wants to see her. It's a really fucked up situation, and I'm trying my best to be there for her as a friend instead of someone who wants to be with her. I just have a good feeling about this. We're not really "friends" per say, it's more of a pre-commitment thing. She really wants me to be there for her the whole time, so when she's ready we'll be together. I know it never really works, but I have a great feeling about this.
