carrie
I'm thinking it's just a rumor...
robbot says:
i hope not. i mean i would love to have another album like "this audultry.." but...i dont want to see them go all together
ben
God damn it.
Lucas

There, there, Ben.

There, there.

* Hands you your joint. *
ben
=)
zoltar
they sucked.
adam.
somewhere, tyson is crying, and he can't explain why.
Stevesy.
I'm just now getting into them and I missed them in concert in June... sad.gif
ben
Until it is confirmed, don't trust punktastic.
Lori
this better be the hugest pile of shit ever said/posted.
they are supposed to play vienna in september.
colin
I don't dig the singer. I'm yet to hear anything by them I've liked.
ben
SingerS, alf.
robbot says:
well considering they have two singers, you will have to be more specific. then again, you seem to like shitty music, so i would understand why you would not like TBB
xBUTTERYOURBREADx
Crimes was a lump of pure shit anyway. As long as they produce a better album after this one, they're already dead to me.

I'm just wondering, what did you not like about Crimes? I'm not persecuting you for your decision, but you're going to have to give out some reasons besides just coming into a thread and saying that.
xBUTTERYOURBREADx
I did not like the overabundance of Jordan's Joan Rivers-mock vocals. I also didn't like the fact that a lot of the songs were slowed down, like Love Rhymes With... It's just my view, you may feel differently.
robbot says:
i agree, crimes was not the best musically, but def the best produced

Robert Hamburger
Ive only heard one of their songs. It was pink tarantulas. It was pretty sweet til the end.
Taylor.
as good as this adultery is ripe is.
burn piano island burn is the best album this band has ever put out.
ben
No contest.
Taylor.
cecilia and the silouhette (sp?) saloon is one of the greatest songs of any band in that genre ever.
Prettier in Plaid
Damn shame if they're over.
ben
I'm going out on a limb here, but

Burn Piano Island Burn kicks De-loused's ass.
Crimes kicks Frances the Mute's ass.

You'll say "BUT THEYRE BOTH SO DIFFERENT!?!?!"

basically, I'm saying Blood bros. deserves a lot more recognition than TMV. Maybe not from MTV or anything, but just from other places.
Taylor.
maybe so...
but omar and cedric>>>>>>>>>>>>>the entire blood brothers band
no matter how amazing TBB are.
ben
Omar yea.

But I don't know about Cedric anymore.
Taylor.
At the drive in is one of the most innovative bands in the history of underground music...

that said,

tbb>the mars volta
ben
Well yea At the Drive-in is another story. But since Cedric has like insulted ATDI many times and announces that TMV is superior, and ALSO that people should like music HE LIKES....I don't know, he's not that great. He needs to stop being a prick to people.
Taylor.
the mars volta is much more original then at the drive in.
but at the drive in was just better.
prime example of originality not always beating out just a well made song.

p.s. I love the fact that cedric is an ass it makes me laugh.
Robert Hamburger
Taking Back Sunday takes a dump on anyband in this thread.

perfectly put.
Prettier in Plaid
I don't think you can simply say ATDI is straight up better. An easier listen I'd say, and easily enjoyable. The fact that TMV's recordings can take most people out of their comfort zone and their uncanny innovation puts them way up their in any musical genre nowadays.

With that said...

Tool>everyone else
Robert Hamburger
Whats at the drive in? The mars what now? Huh?

In all honesty the only song I have by either of them is one armed scissor.
ben
check out atdi russ. i think you'd like it.

not TMV
Prettier in Plaid
ATDI broke up and the two main members created TMV. Other dudes from ATDI made Sparta.
Lucas

i disagree. i think i'm the only one who LOVES crimes. that being said, i'm not saying crimes is better, i just can't decide.

trash flavored trash is the best driving song ever.
Robert Hamburger
Well thanks for not deducing the fact that I need someone to send me songs from each band.
ben

Prettier in Plaid
I also love Crimes.
Taylor.
crimes is great.
it also pretty much put that band on the map.

p.s. paul atdi is now in the mars volta.
the real joe
more like the blood sisters
Prettier in Plaid
You really need to drown in the Columbia. God would love you more that way.
Taylor.
...
I'm gonna let the kkk get on you for this one.

EDIT: in reference to the real joe.
the real joe
