if you spray paint a shirt and then you wash it will the spray come off?
Lucas
no. but if you use regular spray paint then your shirt will go rigid. use fabric spray paint. or if you have to use regular, use light colors on dark. you wouldn't think that would be right, but black on a lighter color looks like shit.

spray it super lightly or else the color will bleed everywhere while it's wet and you'll be left with a big blob of color and no design. i tried to make my friend a shirt using spray paint to stencil words on and i sprayed it way too close and way too much. basically use less than you think you need. i usually do a really light layer, let it dry, and then repeat until it's the color i want.

or just use acrylic paint. more work, but it looks better for some things. i used acrylic paint on the shirt im wearing in my avatar.

Your shirt you made reminds me of the Thursday one with the falling doves. I like it.

I just recently tried this out and here are a few of the shirts I made...

Sprayed around stenciled letters.

Didn't spray enough so it started to fade. Bad placement too.

Used a design I saw on threadless to see how neat adn sharp the stencil method I was using worked. Turned out nice.

i like the first one and the 3rd one.

So far they haven't been fading too bad. My mom ironed them with something after I let them dry. I guess it helps set the paint so it doesn't fade as much.
Stevesy.
So your mom supports you wearing a shirt that says "Die Homey!"

Cool.

I love the anti-clothing making bit with people. I also love telling people they're not allowed to use mustard on their hot dog. What the fuck?
Stevesy.
I cut myself on the finger with an exacto knife in a shop class in 6th grade. And while I'm bleeding profusely, my teacher was like "CUT AWAY FROM THE FINGER! AWAY!!!!" And he was looking up in the air with his arms spread out and fists clenched. It was probably one of the funniest things I've ever seen to date.
Dan Dissonance
hahah i cut myself on accident with one in art oneday, never used them again. thats why i say cutters have guts, i'd be too pussy to cut myself everyday
